SnapDibz has been crafting his unique blend of pop and hip-hop since the early 2000s, bringing razor-sharp wit and depth to his lyricism. Hailing from Atlanta, GA, Snap has continuously pushed the boundaries of his artistry, taking his music to the next level.
His journey began when he met DJ Dibz in Louisiana, forming the duo SnapDibz. After years of grinding in the underground scene, DJ Dibz eventually stepped away, but Snap kept the name alive. During those formative years, SnapDibz experimented with a variety of raw sounds, prioritizing creative expression over polished production.
The hard work paid off. SnapDibz gained recognition when two of his music videos were nominated at the Midwest Video Music Awards: “Identity” for Best Hip-Hop Freshman and “Beakers” for Best Male Hip-Hop Video. Further cementing his presence, SnapDibz was selected as a crowd favorite and featured on the ReverbNation homepage in May 2017.
A New Level of Success
In 2020, SnapDibz released his first professionally produced EP, “Levels,” recorded at 505 Recording Studios in Quincy, IL. This five-track project showcased a refined production quality, receiving high praise, especially for the standout track “You and I.” The release marked a turning point, propelling SnapDibz onto the global stage.
Shortly after, SnapDibz tapped into the emotional climate of the pandemic with the heartfelt music video “The Climb.” More singles followed, including “Unbreakable,” which introduced a unique Indian-infused beat, and “Done Believing,” a track often compared to Eminem and Rihanna’s “Love the Way You Lie.”
Collaborations & Continued Growth
In 2021, SnapDibz embarked on another collaboration project with Rey Khan, who had previously appeared on “Identity.” The first single from this collaboration, “Backwards in My Head,” became a global sensation, racking up over half a million streams. Other hits followed, including “Satellites,” “Rivals,” and “On My Mind.”
