Erik Vibes is a singer-songwriter, storyteller, and creative force whose music captures the complexities of love, loss, and personal growth. Hailing from Savannah, Georgia, Erik crafts introspective, genre-blending soundscapes that he describes as “introvert-nb”—a soulful fusion of R&B, house, and lo-fi, designed for those who find peace in solitude and strength in self-reflection.

At the heart of Erik’s artistry is Doloism, a philosophy born from personal experiences, including navigating life after prison, the solitude of truck driving, and the grief of losing his mother and brother within months of each other to suicide. It was during this period of isolation that Erik began to see solitude not as loneliness but as empowerment—a way to reclaim peace, clarity, and creativity.

Erik’s first song, Problem Child, was written during his time working in the North Dakota oil fields, where he experienced what he calls “diet racism”—subtle but isolating experiences that made him reflect deeply on his identity and community. This song sparked the creation of his brand, They Can’t Kill All of Us (TCKAOU), a movement celebrating the unity, resilience, and strength of the Black diaspora.

His new EP, Stay From Round Me, unfolds as a love story gone wrong, tracing the emotional arc from infatuation to heartbreak and, ultimately, self-liberation. Each track, from the dreamy Take You There to the defiant anthem G.F.R.M. (Get From Round Me), reflects Erik’s knack for pairing raw storytelling with smooth melodies. The breakout single Dolo has surpassed 300,000 streams across platforms, resonating with listeners who embrace solitude as a form of self-love.

Beyond music, Erik is an author and creative visionary. His newly released book, The 26 Laws of Doloism, explores how solitude can be a form of resistance—especially for Black people—allowing them to reclaim their time, energy, and mental space from societal pressures. The book delves into how intentional solitude can transform personal struggles into strength, reflecting Erik’s own journey of healing and self-discovery.

Known for live performances that blend music with narrative, Erik is currently curating a band-backed show that invites audiences into his world. Whether on stage, in the studio, or through his ventures in fashion and publishing, Erik Vibes continues to build a movement centered around authenticity, independence, and the power of standing alone.
